William Q. Frick

William Q. Frick age 90, of Warrenton, Mo., passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Warrenton, Mo., at the age of 90 years.

He was born to Benjamin and Lilly (nee-Hill) Frick on June 28, 1921 in Warrenton, Mo. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force during WWII. He served as fighter pilot in the Pacific Theater during 1943 - 1944.

He was united in marriage to Elsie J. Vieth on July 18, 1944. She preceded him in death on May 28, 2008. They celebrated 64 years of marriage.

He worked at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Mo. He was an active member of College United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Post #2180, both in Warrenton, Mo. He also was active in the formation of the Warren County Historical Society.

Survivors include one son William Q. Frick and wife, Sue, of Weldon Springs, Mo., one daughter, Marla Elaine Germann and husband, Val, of Columbia, Mo., two brothers; Benjamin Frick and wife, Lois, and Robert Frick and wife, Carolyn, both of Warrenton, Mo., one sister, Marcia Bremmer and husband, Jim, of Marthasville, Mo., three grandchildren; William Q, Frick, III, and wife Sherry, Lisa Frick and Elizabeth Germann, three great grand-children; Noah, Benjamin and Seth, other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elsie, and one sister, Marianne Symes.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M., at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, Mo. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., at the funeral home, with burial following at Warrenton City Cemetery in Warrenton, Mo.

Memorials may be given to College United Methodist Church in C/O the funeral home.
