Ruby Louise Reinhardt
(September 3, 1911 - April 2, 2012)
Ruby Louise (Waller) Reinhardt, of Warrenton passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at The Warrenton Manor at the age of 100 years.
Ruby was born to Clyde Waller and Amanda Louise (nee: Hagemeier) on September 3, 1911, in Vermont, Missouri. Ruby and her husband Walter were married on June 19, 1937, in Wright City, Mo. Walter passed away in July of 1947.
Ruby worked as a sales women for Lohman's Variety Store in Warrenton, Mo. for many years. She was instrumental in starting the Warrenton Senior Center and the Warrenton Villas, where she resided for many years. Ruby also worked tirelessly at the Emmaus Home in Marthasville, Mo.
She was a member of Frieden's United Church of Christ in Warrenton where she was the first female Council President and also a 50 year plus member of the Dorcas Women's Fellowship. Ruby was also a member of the Friend's of Emmaus.
Mrs. Reinhardt is survived by her two loving daughters, Shirley Sida and husband Ray of Wright City, Mo and Jane Dothage and husband Glenn of Freeburg, Mo; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one sister- in- law Melba Waller of Wentzville,Mo., nieces , nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, two brothers Hillard Waller (sister in law Jewell) and Gwyn Waller.
Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home on Monday April 9 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services wll be held on Tuesday, April 10 at 10:00 A.M. at Friedens United Church of Christ, with burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery in Berger, Mo.
